Ward 5 is a medical short stay ward with a special interest in providing acute medical care to patients with an anticipated length of stay of less than 72 hours. We are looking for a clinical sister to join our management team.
The successful applicant will be able to work under pressure, support the ward manager to ensure that the ward achieves defined quality performance indicators whilst supporting our staff with their training and development needs with a view to enhancing their existing nursing skills and knowledge.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop band 6 role experience. As this is a Secondment, please ensure you gain permission from your line manager prior to applying.
We work closely with a range of MDT professionals to ensure that our patients have a positive patient journey.
The successful candidate will be supported in their new role and be given the opportunity to develop their skills in all areas of ward management including e-roster management, staff appraisals, and sickness and absence management.
