Hospital Administrator | Reception | Permanent - 32.5 hours per week | Shift-based Monday - Friday:7am - 9pm 1 in 4 Saturdays:7am - 1pm | Havant, Hampshire Spire Portsmouth Hospital are recruiting for an experienced administrator to join the reception team on a part time permanent basis Spire Portsmouth Hospital offers world-class care within beautiful surroundings and is part of one of the UK's most respected private hospital groups. Duties and responsibilities: To always receive and direct patients and visitors in an efficient and courteous manner To ensure that all visitors have signed the correct visitors book and issued with a visitor's badge if appropriate. Full knowledge of the computer systems, admissions and discharge process, and all other reception associated duties. Capturing of credit card details and taking payments from patients. To ensure the reception area is always immaculate and tidy. To have full knowledge and be able to operate the hospital's switchboard and bleep systems. Receive and record deliveries of flowers, gifts etc and organise delivery to patient's room. Organise transport for patients, visitors and staff as required. Carrying out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post. Duties will include outpatient clinic administration and patient check in using our Hospital Tablet Registration.
