In this role, you'll provide exceptional customer service to our members using the coworking lounge and meeting rooms. We need someone comfortable in a busy workspace who can manage customers while upholding a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are a retro-chic business lounge with an open office space for hot desking and four state-of-the-art private meeting rooms. We have a strong reputation amongst our members thanks to the level of service we provide, our on-site cafe and how accommodating and easy to work with we are. Barista experience is desired but not essential. Our tea and coffee is a big part of our appeal so at the very least you need to be happy to develop coffee making skills. On a given day you will be greeting and getting to know customers, taking and preparing drinks orders, clearing tables, and a variety of other ad hoc tasks depending on the needs of our customers. You will occasionally need to use your own judgement on how best to handle a particular client’s needs so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility upon themselves. We don’t expect that from day one but once you’ve been with us for a while, we’d like to see you standing on your own two feet. We offer a competitive hourly rate along with 15 days of holiday ( paid time off when we close for Christmas), and we're only open from 0800 to 1800 on weekdays, so no anti-social shifts. Please take the time to look at our website and socials before you apply.
