The details Job Title: Compliance Coordinator Working Hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday- Friday Location: Beaminster, Dorset Salary: £42,000 PA Duration: Temp to perm Our client makes a label-friendly shelf-life extender that address microbial spoilage (antimicrobials, fermentates & blends) to reduce food loss and waste and help food and beverage manufacturers optimize production costs and foster consumer loyalty. We are looking for a Compliance Coordinator to join a fantastic employer in Beaminster who values diversity and inclusion. This role would be suited to someone with previous experience within food industry who has a high level of reliability. The job To ensure that the site remains compliant with external regulatory and legal requirements and internal policies and bylaws. To work with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk. Maintaining an electronic diary of events related to compliance with Health & Safety / Statutory regulations, with tasks undertaken per the Company’s Compliance Policy Compliance with Health & Safety requirements Liaise with production, engineering and laboratories as necessary to organise statutory inspections & checks of plant & equipment as part of the compliance regulations. Liaise with external vendors, booking inspections for all compliance-related events. Diarize events & legal requirements which are relevant to departments as an electronic diary. The candidate Experience in Health & Safety / Environmental legal compliance. Proficiency in computer skills, with experience in the Microsoft Suite of programs, and an affinity to learn in-house systems.
