Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Care Home Manager to lead our residential care facility in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the 55 bedded care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home.
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
3. Lead, manage, and motivate a team of care staff.
4. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
5. Maintain high levels of resident and family satisfaction.
6. Manage budgets and resources effectively.
7. Conduct regular audits and inspections.
8. Implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
9. Liaise with healthcare professionals and external agencies.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Registered Manager Award or equivalent qualification.
2. Proven experience in a similar managerial role within a care home setting.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
6. Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
7. Compassionate, patient-centred approach.
8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
