Role: WTG Marshalling Harbour Site Quality Representative

Location: Hartlepool - MUST be Located Commutable Distance to Site
Shift Pattern: 12 Hour Days - 7 Days Per Week - 2 Weeks on / 2 Weeks off
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12-Months + Possible Extensions
Clearance: BPSS (DBS/DC, Financial Probity, Employment History) + Medical Questionnaire & Proof of Right to Work in the UK
The successful candidate will have the proven skills necessary to build relationships with key internal and key Turbine Manufacturer pre-assembly stakeholders to ensure that WTG marshalling harbour activities are safely executed in accordance with technical and quality requirements.
Working as an integral member of the WTG Package team, the WTG Marshalling Harbour Employer Site Quality Representative shall manage WTG load-in and pre-assembly activities, as defined within the key accountabilities of this role. The role will be back-to-back with another WTG Marshalling Harbour Employer Site Quality Representative and will work closely with the Employer Site Manager and QA/QC Co-ordinator.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Ensure that all works undertaken comply with project specific requirements, including:
1. Incoming component inspection of towers sections, blades and nacelles;
2. Final inspection prior to loadout;
3. Assembled tower walkdowns;
4. Tracking preservation of components in compliance with client requirements;
5. Reporting and tracking close out of punch list items;
6. Produce a daily report of key activities and findings on site;
7. Safety walkarounds with Turbine Manufacturer;
8. Quality Documentation review;
9. Attending daily/weekly coordination meetings with the Manufacturer site team;
10. Liaising with Project Commissioning and Completions team on outstanding punches uploaded to ProCoSys.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum HNC qualified in an engineering or construction.
2. Five years of relevant WTG construction experience, as an Employer Representative of similar.
3. Demonstrable understanding of the quality function during the execution of EPC contracts.
4. Experience of working collaboratively with Clients and Contractors.
5. Good communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders.
6. Experience in monitoring Contractor activities in the following project phases: preservation, installation and commissioning through to completion / hand over, including management of non-conformities.
7. Demonstrable understanding of Project documentation arrangements, including Contractor documentation deliverables.
8. Willingness to be site based.
9. Strong ethos relating to Health Safety and Wellbeing.
