We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Assistant Depot Manager to assistant the depot manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the hire depot whilst developing the skills and knowledge of the hire controllers and acting as a mentor to other colleagues.

* Experience: Industry related experience is essential
* Business Acumen: Ability to demonstrate business acumen with decision making
* Leadership: Provide leadership within an office environment
* Customer service: Able to handing customer complaints effectively and in a timely manner in order to retail buisness
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Your Role:
* Provide first class customer service
* Developing and growing key accounts.
* Prepare hire contracts, quotations, and any other necessary correspondence, costing all enquiries accurately and profitably
* Conduct detailed site surveys when required.
* Develop knowledge and skills of Hire employees, act s a mentor to other colleagues.
* Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Handle enquiries and source new business
* Record enquiries and SIC (Source of enquiry code)
* Follow up quotations and enquiries and maintain accurate records
* Prepare accurate weekly and monthly reports for the Depot Manager
* Raising cap ex, factored sale, and unit disposal forms as and when required
* Awareness of monthly depot KPI’s and assist in meeting or exceeding
* To be able to keep calm in a pressurised, busy office, deputising when needed and acting on own personal initiative
* Planning own workload and being able to multitask and delegate to Hire Controllers ensuring an even distribution of workloads
* Preparation of Hire Contracts and quotations for modular buildings
* Deputise and take full responsibility for the depot in the absence of the Depot Manager
