Role Overview:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage the classroom, and provide a supportive, engaging learning environment for students. You’ll be adaptable to different school settings and year groups, helping to ensure continuity in the student learning experience during teacher absences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across various subjects and key stages.
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task.
* Support students with their learning and address any questions or challenges.
* Adhere to school policies, including those related to safeguarding and inclusion.
* Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher, ensuring a smooth transition when they return.
About You:
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with eligibility to work in the UK.
* Experience: Experience teaching within UK primary or secondary schools (both is a bonus).
* Flexibility: Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and handle a range of age groups and subjects.
* Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with excellent classroom management skills.
* Passion: A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a passion for supporting young learners.
* Commitment to Safeguarding: Dedication to promoting the welfare of children.
