We are seeking experienced Human Resources Managers with 3-5 years in HR management roles. These positions offer unique opportunities to contribute to our strategic growth and play pivotal roles in shaping each hotel's success:
1. HR Manager for Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre
Located at 55 Portland Street, Manchester M1 3HP, this upmarket 4-star hotel is situated in the heart of the city, offering guests unparalleled access to Manchester's vibrant culture.
1. Cluster HR Manager for Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre & Maldron Hotel Cathedral Quarter
* Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre: Situated at 60 Charles Street, Manchester M1 7DF, this modern 4-star hotel boasts a prime location just a 4-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road train station.
* Maldron Hotel Cathedral Quarter: Located at 30 Chapel Street, Salford, Manchester, M3 7NH, this newly built four-star hotel is ideally situated just minutes' walk from the legendary Arndale Shopping Centre and close to the city's most dynamic business districts.
Both roles have the support of HR Executives or Asst HR Manager on site to assist you with delivering on the strategy.
Objective of the Role
This role reports to the Hotel General Manager, with a dotted line to the Group HR Business Partner.
As the HR Manager, you will provide support & guidance to the team across all spectrums of the HR function while effectively managing & developing our people. The role will be to assist in the development and delivery of human resource projects, plans and tactics that improve overall Organisational capability and performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee all recruitment and selection for the property, including internal hiring and succession planning.
* Drive Training and Development amongst the staff to ensure that our talent is ready to take the next steps in their careers.
* Create & drive the engagement strategy within the hotel.
* Proactive management of IR and ER issues.
* Maintain employee compliance standards for the hotel, including proper HR Records and documentation.
* Oversee the payroll budget and processing for the hotel, through the Time and Attendance systems.
Requirements:
* 3 to 5 years in a HR management role, ideally in a hotel or customer focused environment.
* Proactive by nature and a self-starter.
* 3rd level qualification in HRM, Business or similar. CIPD qualification is preferred.
* Experience in driving employee engagement.
* Experience of payroll and cost management.
* Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
* Strong understanding of employment law and related legislation.
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
