Our Maritime Engineering team is growing and we’d like you to join us to help us broaden our research themes and expand our teaching activities. Have you a passion for Cleaner, Smarter and Safer Maritime Engineering? Do you apply your expertise in Maritime Engineering using new technologies, future ship design, digital futures or marine renewable energy? Are you interested in experiencing engagement and teaching delivery at an international campus, particularly at the School’s Joint Education Institute with Harbin Engineering University (HEU) where you will spend at least one Semester per year? Can you share your knowledge with clarity and enthusiasm?

Within four years she was promoted to Associate Professor. She has developed new teaching at undergraduate level and won a prestigious Fellowship to open up new research avenues while also taking a period of maternity leave. She now leads a research team of 6 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.

Minimum Qualifications: To apply, you’ll need a PhD, or equivalent professional qualifications, with research experience and a collaborative approach to working across research areas and disciplines. Whatever you bring to the team, we’ll support you to develop your presentation skills and keep making progress in our forward-thinking department.
