Due to planned growth, my client is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their well established office in Oxted, Surrey.
They're a busy, local firm based in the centre of Oxted, serving a broad range of private and business clients in Surrey. They specialise in residential conveyancing, commercial property, business law, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorneys and matters of Probate.

You will be responsible for assisting with the administrative duties associated with a busy conveyancing caseload and proactively progressing matters under the guidance of the Head of Department.
Key skills & experience required:
1. Must have a minimum of 1 years experience in a conveyancing department. Candidates will not be considered if they do not have relevant experience.
2. Land Registry Portal – including lodging applications, registrations and requesting searches documentation from Land Registry.
3. Post completion tasks including submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns online.
4. Completing legal forms.
5. Liaison with clients and other third parties including lenders, agents, mortgage brokers, surveyors, etc to progress matters.
6. Submission of searches via online portals.
7. Progress matters via Local Authorities, other solicitors, agents, etc.
8. Dealing with enquiries from all parties and issuing contracts and other documentation, under guidance.
