Job summary An opportunity has arisen to join our team at Colchester Hospital. We are inviting applications for a full-time post, Consultant in Renal Medicine. Full registration with the General Medical Council and being listed on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT date at time of interview. Main duties of the job The renal consultants currently work on a rotational base providing inpatient care with the support of a FY1 and an IMT trainee, dialysis management and 7 general nephrology clinics (7 in Colchester and 2 in Clacton) as well as 3 low clearance clinics. This is an exciting time to join the renal team as major changes are planned. The Colchester and Ipswich renal team will join forces to form a single department in order to improve patient care and resource management.
