Description
Leading fieldwork teams on client engagements, supervising junior staff while executing audit procedures according to the firm's methodology
Maintaining regular communication with clients, addressing queries and gathering necessary information while building strong relationships
Reviewing work papers and audit documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with auditing standards
Identifying and assessing audit risks, developing appropriate responses, and executing tests of controls and substantive procedures
Supporting audit managers in planning engagements, preparing budgets, and assigning tasks to team members
Mentoring and developing junior staff members, providing feedback and guidance on their work
Drafting key sections of audit reports and financial statements, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements
Spotting potential business advisory opportunities for clients that could benefit from broader service offerings

Profile
Qualified ACA/ACCA professional with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in audit
Strong technical accounting knowledge with demonstrated proficiency in UK GAAP and IFRS
Previous experience supervising audit teams and mentoring junior staff
Excellent client relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Proven ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Keen attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying audit risks and anomalies
Experience in specialist sectors (private clients, real estate, not-for-profit, or entertainment)
Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
