MIB is a not-for-profit organisation at the heart of the fight against uninsured driving. In the UK someone is a victim of an uninsured or hit-and-run driver every 20 minutes – that’s a huge problem. We exist to protect people from the devastation uninsured and hit-and-run driving causes.
At MIB our people are passionate about making roads safer by getting uninsured and hit-and-run drivers off our roads. Working in partnership with the Police, Insurers and Government our collective aim is to make it a thing of the past but, until that’s accomplished, we’re here to compensate victims quickly, fairly and compassionately.
Last year we helped more than 42,000 people struck by uninsured and hit-and-run drivers.
Our Project Support Specialist role will support the Navigate project team in coordinating and monitoring the customer transition and migration plans throughout the life of the project. This role will work with the engagement function of the project to maintain plans and share with the wider project team to ensure the transition and migration project milestones are met as well as supporting all relevant customer and communications related activity across the project.
Responsibilities
* Support the customer action planning process to document what each customer needs to do to achieve a successful migration to the new platform.
* Work with project team and support the coordination of customer engagement activity.
* Ensure accurate data in the database related to customers through the transition process to a new system.
* Work with the comms teams to draft and deliver comms to customers, including update of relevant microsites.
* Support the customer working groups effectiveness by helping with the logistics and outputs of events/sessions to feed into the project (e.g. webinar, f2f workshops).
* Respond to customer support requests and queries directly where possible or redirecting to the appropriate team.
* Monitor the progress of customer support requests and chase up internally as necessary to ensure a good customer experience.
* Update training materials and guidance for systems to support customers.
* Manage and take ownership of distribution lists and to manage and keep up to date with contact information.
* Onboard new customer information onto CRM tool/tracker.
* Undertake additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Education
Skills and Knowledge
* Significant planning, prioritisation and time management skills.
* Previous administrative experience.
* Self-reliant, ability to work without supervision.
* Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Good with data, with a keen eye for detail.
* Experience with working with cross functional teams.
* Concise and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative thinker – able to use all available resources to get to the right result.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
* Technical background in supporting products would be preferred – ie Service Now.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £29,000 per annum
FTC until 31 December 2025
Grade 8
35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

£320 (before tax) start up allowance
Hybrid working (2 days in the office per week) from our Milton Keynes office, MK14
