The Copthorne Hotel Manchester is seeking an F&B Supervisor to play an integral part in our Food & Beverage Department. You will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager ensuring a high standard of customer service is offered at all times, supervising the team to deliver a great experience for our guests.
As F&B Supervisor, key responsibilities include:
* Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager with recruitment and selection of Food & Beverage team members
* Training new and existing team members to deliver excellent customer service, providing feedback and support as required
* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained within the Food & Beverage areas
* Taking responsibility for the float, payments and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to by the team
* Assisting in the planning and organisation of all Food & Beverage operations on a daily basis to ensure smooth running of the department
* Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure that all outlets are operating efficiently at all times.
* Attending meetings as required
* Participating in the Duty Manager rota as required.
What we are looking for:
* Supervisory experience, particularly within the hospitality industry
* Proven experience within a Food & Beverage role, ideally within a hotel/quality establishment
* Outstanding customer service skills
* Good organisational skills
* The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional approach
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude and great team player
* Experience of MICROS
