Job summary This position provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and creative nurse to lead on delivering the safeguarding agenda for Children and Young People within the acute site of Harrogate and District Foundation Trust (HDFT). An opportunity has arisen within the HDFT Safeguarding team to lead the acute based Safeguarding Children's team to ensure the organisation meets its safeguarding responsibilities with regard to children, young people and their families. Main duties of the job The post holder will ensure effective relationships and integrated working with the wider safeguarding team (0-19 community, children in care/care leavers, adults/ MCA, learning disabilities,) and work across acute services and within a multi-agency arena. They will provide advice and support to organisation staff on the safeguarding issues affecting the health and wellbeing of children, young people.
