Are you experienced with the end-to-end payroll process? We are supporting a growing accountancy firm based in Carlisle to hire a Payroll Assistant on a full time permanent basis. This role will start as 5 days on site and will move to hybrid after 6 months. Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Assistant: - Supporting with all aspects of the client payroll - Provide a bespoke service tailors to each clients needs - Covering all aspects of technical payroll, including benefits, Year end processes, online HMRC Submissions - Liaise with both clients & HMRC in a professional manner - Working closely with a range of company sizes from small family businesses to large group companies Key Skills for the Payroll Assistant: - Strong all round technical knowledge and experience with payroll processes - Excellent communications - Previous experience in a similar role What you will get in return: - Up to 30 days holiday bank holidays - Competitive pension contribution - employer contribution of 5% - Paid overtime - Regular social events many more
