The Job:
Job title: Service Manager.
Hours : 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday
Salary package: £42,745 to £47,600 p.a. DOE plus commission (OTE between £3,000 and £6,000 p.a.).
The contract: Set in 135 acres of hilly parkland and named one of the most beautiful campuses in the world you will be looking after the on-campus residences for students.

Our contract with the university includes all residential and communal areas on campus all year round, with peak periods for conferences. During term time, you will provide motivation and support to your team on the day-to-day delivery of excellent service. During the busy conferencing periods, you will be responsible for managing the arrivals and departures cleaning as the residences are transformed into a hotel-style service.
As our Service Manager youll be site-based and work with a multicultural team of a Deputy Service Manager, two Site Supervisors and about 40 cleaners. Youll be the first point of contact for the client, delivering service excellence, trusted consultative advice and optimum customer satisfaction. As the technical expert for the cleaning solution across the campus, you will be comfortable managing and monitoring performance management information against the contract requirements.
You must have great IT and financial skills which will enable you to use client systems and interpret data to optimise resource planning especially during the busy conferencing periods, work with and towards KPIs and budgets and to price and invoice any non-routine work at the appropriate level.
Prior experience in the hospitality industry e.g. as a Housekeeping Manager is beneficial, but not essential for this role.
