An excitingopportunity has arisen at Somerset County Cricket Club to join ourPathway Cricket department. We are looking to recruit a BoysAcademy and Regional Performance Coach.
You willplay a crucial part in delivering SCCCs Emerging Players Programme(EPP) and Academy with a focus on developing highpotential malecricketers. Youll contribute heavily to the University of ExeterMens cricket programme where you will provide highquality coachingto topperforming players. You will be instrumental in identifyinginspiring and nurturing talent from Somerset County Age Groups(CAG) and across the wider region.
Amongst otheressential criteria youll have an ECB Level 2 Coaching qualificationand proven experience coaching within a talent pathway environmentespecially with adolescent male players. You will also have astrong ability to facilitate high quality practices for aspiringcricketers and an awareness of best practices within playeridentification and development.
To thrive in thisrole youll be approachable reflective and empathetic with theability to positively influence a variety of stakeholders. You willhave excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach toworking. Youll maintain high professional standards and have adrive for excellence in everything you do.
Giventhe nature of the role any appointment is subject to a satisfactoryenhanced DBS check. If no ECB DBS is already in place this checkwill be carried out by the Club.
You will need tobe eligible to work in the UK and hold a full UK drivinglicence.
