About the Role: As an MET Technician at Steer Automotive, you’ll be pivotal in diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components for a range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. Your expertise will ensure customers’ vehicles are safely back on the road with top-quality repairs. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs, including ADAS calibration and wheel alignment. Dismantle vehicles to prepare for panel work and body repairs. Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and fault-finding. Handle inventory and replacement part orders efficiently. Reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition with new components. Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and manufacturer specifications. Keep clear communication with the team on repair status and progress. About You: You’re an experienced MET Technician, skilled in accident repair and familiar with the latest automotive technology. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as an MET Technician, with skills in electric and hybrid vehicles. Proficiency with ADAS, wheel alignment, mechanical repairs, and diagnostic tools.
