What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors wish to appoint an energetic, inspirational, committed and experienced Y2 teacher to the staff team. This will be a temporary position covering maternity leave from 5th January 2025 until 24th October 2025.
We are looking for someone who:
Demonstrates outstanding practice.
Has a good knowledge of Y2.
Has experience in KS1.
Has high expectations of self and is highly committed.
Has high expectations of pupil achievement and an understanding of how all children learn best.
Has excellent behaviour management skills.
Is highly motivated.
Approaches curriculum development creatively.
Has good interpersonal skills and can work as part of a team.
Can contribute to the wider life of the school.
Is resilient, hard-working and committed to continuously improving their own teaching practice.
Is an excellent member of a team, fostering good relationships.
