Teaching Personnel is delighted to work with a number of outstanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across South London, supporting their search for dedicated, adaptable, and inspiring SEN Teachers. These schools are committed to providing exceptional education in inclusive environments that celebrate the unique abilities and achievements of all students.
We are currently looking for talented SEN Teachers to deliver high-quality teaching to children and young people with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN, ensuring progress in their learning and development.
- Create a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment that promotes personal growth and self-confidence.
- Use a range of strategies to effectively support students with varying needs, including differentiated planning and the use of assistive technology where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to implement personalised education plans (EHCPs).
- Foster a strong partnership with parents and carers to ensure continuity of care and education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with children and young people with SEN is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies, with the ability to adapt approaches to suit individual needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to inclusive education.
- Right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or the willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
