Global Services is a “Global Underwriting Servicing” team aimed at providing multinational knowledge/insights and co-ordinated policy servicing for our Japanese Corporate clients. As being Regional Hub of the Global Service network of Tokio Marine Group, our core expertise is to handle TMHCC DAMP account placements, that form part of a Global Programme, utilising central administrative functions to provide consistent, seamless, high level of service quality across the entire group network. We facilitate and arrange local Fronted and Inwards Reinsurance insurance policies for Global Programmes in collaboration with Corporate Business Development teams across all major standard lines of business. We work as dedicated coordinators closely with TM local offices as well as our expanding external Network Partners in European/African region. Job Purpose: To ensure that the Department have the necessary support for Account Handling and other required operations of the Department to establish and maintain a professional level of service to internal / external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: The role includes responsibility for assisting the Manager of Global Services - London (GS-L) in the below areas: Account Handling Obtain and issue quotations for both new and renewal business. Provide day-to-day servicing of the clients’ insurance programs. Effectively manage and respond with queries of changes in coverages and risks. Manage and co-ordinate global insurance programs and liaise with the network as necessary. Effectively manage Credit Control processes. Prepare and issue policy documentation. Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage queries in relation to the allocated accounts. Awareness of compliance and regulatory issues Regional Hub Operation Act as the PO (Producing Office) for multi-territory/multi-platform programme originating from its own Hub territory, instructing Local Office and Fronting Companies in its own Region and other Regional Hubs to ensure appropriate covers and services are arranged Act as the SO (Servicing Office) for multi-territory/multi-platform programme, responsible for arranging local/regional covers and services within its own Hub territory as instructed by the respective Producing Office Workflow management of above arrangements, Servicing/Processing multi-territory/multi-platform accounts and DAMP accounts Ensure timely, accurate servicing and processing of multi-territory/multi-platform accounts and DAMP accounts originating in UK Support other TMHCC offices for such accounts Regional Information The creation and maintenance of legal, regulatory, tax and local operational information (including Fronting Company and TPA (Third Party Administrator) information) of its own Hub territory. Regional External Networking Fronting Company Network building and maintenance Claim TPA network building and maintenance Risk Engineering network building and maintenance Regional Service Standard Service Level management and maintenance of London Office and Fronting Companies Quality Control and Assessment Ensure data quality and timeliness at London Office Involve in assessment of London Office KPI with respect to GS-L Reporting To ensure that management information is reported in a timely and accurate manner within TM Group and to external organizations Performance Objectives Ensures allocated tasks are processed, maintained, and validated accurately in a timely manner and in accordance with company service standards / KPIs. Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients for new and renewal business. This includes having knowledge and understanding of terms and conditions within existing policies to be able to liaise with clients effectively. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner and always seeking to successfully complete job requirements and responsibilities.
