MIH was established in 1985 as a small contractor working with local county council and government projects. The business has grown since the early days and now turnover approximately £7 million per annum. MIH’s main area of business is commercial and industrial, including, hospitals, schools, universities & MOD projects. MIH works with their clients on design-build, pre-designed mechanical contracts including heating, air conditioning, ventilation & maintenance. We are currently recruiting for a part-time Service Administrator, to work two days per week initially with the potential of increasing to three days per week as the role evolves. This role plays a critical part in running a successful Service Department. You will work closely with the Service Manager, Service Engineers, and our customers. On a day-to-day basis, you will schedule work for the Engineers, both planned maintenance & emergency call outs. In addition, you will be responsible for the back-office administration e.g. creating invoices & liaising with the accounts department, obtaining quotes from Engineers for quoted works & keeping Job Logic up to date with all jobs. The successful candidate must have : 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English, Maths & Science Experience of working in a similar role Excellent organisational skills Outstanding communication skills (verbal & written) Be able to prioritise their own workload. Experience of using Job Logic or a similar system would be advantageous to your application.
