Staff Nurse, band 5 Renal Dialysis Unit Aberdeen Royal Infirmary 22.2 hours/week We are looking for a registered nurse at band 5 level with current full UK NMC registration to join our dialysis team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on a part time basis. The dialysis unit has 24 dialysis bays for patients who require regular haemodialysis on an outpatient basis. The team also cares for acutely unwell inpatients in our acute dialysis facility within our inpatient renal ward and critical care areas of the hospital. The Dialysis Unit operates a rotational day/night duty rota Monday to Sunday and there is also an on-call commitment for all registered staff. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated person with current or recent post registration experience of delivering holistic care in an acute care area in a hospital setting. They will have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills and be able to demonstrate that they can cope with the demands of a constantly changing environment. They will also be able to demonstrate a good knowledge base of renal dialysis care. Current or recent dialysis experience would be an advantage.
