The Technical Account Manager (TAM) at JupiterOne plays a crucial role in helping our largest and most complex customers succeed on the JupiterOne platform. As a TAM, you will act as both a technical expert and trusted advisor, guiding customers to full platform adoption while addressing their unique business needs. You will help customers grow in their security maturity by managing custom solutions, coordinating with professional services, and, when necessary, directly executing on these projects with other members of the J1 team.
This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll engage frequently with customers, platform users, and engineering teams. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align them with customer objectives will be key to success. You'll work closely with sales and engineering to ensure that JupiterOne delivers consistent value while meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
What you’ll do:
1. Serve as a strategic, technical advisor for customers, understanding their goals and aligning JupiterOne solutions to their needs.
2. Develop and manage custom solutions and ensure their successful delivery.
3. Engage with customers regularly, providing platform guidance, troubleshooting, and recommendations for improvement.
4. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and sales teams to drive customer success and ensure technical requirements are met.
5. Help customers leverage the JupiterOne platform to address enterprise security challenges, optimizing its use and driving platform adoption.
6. Participate in the development and execution of security strategies, leveraging your expertise in architecture and compliance.
Who you are:
1. 8+ years of technical experience, with a focus on implementation and consulting.
2. Proven success in technical account management, solutions architecture, or cybersecurity consulting.
3. Strong familiarity with enterprise security challenges, and a drive to create tailored solutions.
4. Scripting experience in either Typescript (preferred) or Python.
5. Hands-on experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
6. Industry certifications such as CISSP and AWS Solutions Architect (preferred).
7. Knowledge of security compliance frameworks like PCI DSS, SOC II, FedRAMP, and HIPAA.
8. Ability to communicate effectively with both customer-facing and technical teams, driving initiatives to completion.
9. Practical experience with GraphQL APIs and open source projects.
10. Strong problem-solving mindset, with a passion for process improvement and automation.
11. Thrives in dynamic environments, with a track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
12. Agile team experience, particularly in small, high-growth companies managing multiple responsibilities.
13. Multilingual a plus.
