Purpose of the Role Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Associations for which the Society acts as Managing Agent. Working with Association Committees, Management Boards and other organisations to provide the best possible outcomes. The primary focus of this role is to provide effective administrative support. Process new memberships, renewals, and cancellations. Serve as the main point of contact for members, including answering phone calls, emails, social media engagement and directing inquiries to the appropriate colleagues. Address member inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive relationships with members to enhance their overall experience. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date membership database. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of member information. Prepare the agenda, papers and minutes of the Committee meetings. Attend Committees and report of relevant activities under this role. Manage approval of expenses and budgets. Work with the Finance team to ensure correct issuing of invoices. Chase company debtors. Assist Event Managers at company events, meetings, and conferences, including logistics, catering, and attendee coordination. This role is office based with no capacity for regular hybrid working but may involve occasional nationwide travel, providing an opportunity to explore diverse locations and engage with a variety of stakeholders. What you will bring to the table Essential: Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or administrative assistant role. Proficiency in MS Office and other office management software. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Desirable: A passion for farming and the countryside.
