The role of Teaching Assistant is an excellent opportunity to support in changing the lives of young people, within our Primary school. This role will contribute to a high-quality and invaluable programme of education, for vulnerable students who present challenging behaviours. Providing guidance for our pupils, you will ensure that students are effectively supported, motivated, and challenged.,
* Engaging in interventions, both in and out of lessons, to foster effective participation of students in the social, behaviour, and academic processes of the school.
* Working with the team to implement behaviour management strategies, and developing relationships with students who may be vulnerable and/or have complex needs.
* Liaising with other agencies to ensure that student needs are fully met.
* Supporting the teacher in the delivery of engaging and successful lessons.
Resilience is a key part of this role, alongside a good standard of education, and a proactive attitude towards learning behaviour management techniques - implementing strategies and utilising de-escalation to diffuse behavioural issues.
