About the Role The Principal Manager will be managing recruitment of foster carers they will manage all the assessments for new carers as well as the Fostering support team. the manager will work closely with Foster For East Midlands the D2N2 recruitment hub to increase applications The manager will need to have oversight of all recruitment activity and ensure we are progressing events and applications in a timely manner. The role will also entail some supervision and managing supervising social workers. About You The ideal candidate will have: · Social Work qualification and registered with social work England · Experience of fostering regulations and national minimum standards · knowledge of recruitment and marketing activity · Demonstrate good effective leadership and motivational skills, ensuring good communication within the service, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and service user focus that delivers good outcomes for children. Detailed knowledge of National Standards and Fostering Regulations 2011 and the Children’s Act 2002 Develop and implement Quality Assurance Systems in order to quality assure the standard of assessments for Fostering Panels. - This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role. - A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post. - The role requires you to participate in the on call rota.
