Field Technical Support Engineer
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire with daily travel to clients' locations (80% based in Cambridgeshire and 20% based elsewhere in England - will include the occasional overnight stay as required)
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Salary: Circa £30,000

We're on the lookout for a hands-on Field Service Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys tackling break/fix challenges head on! In this role you will be the backbone of client support operations, resolving technical issues on-site with precision and efficiency. Who are we? Duties to include:
1. Deliver, install and configure IT equipment at client sites.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
3. Provide basic training to end users on how to use equipment and systems.
4. Be involved in system implementations and site deployments.
5. Complete basic network cable and socket repairs.
6. Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical issues and escalate as appropriate.
7. Ensure client documentation is up to date.
Skills/experience required:
1. Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
2. Exceptional time management skills.
3. Full, clean UK driving licence.
4. Knowledge of using and supporting Microsoft applications.
5. Working knowledge of and experience using Windows operating systems.
6. Microsoft 365 knowledge.
7. A general understanding of IT Networking.
8. Good knowledge of mobile phone devices.
9. Able to prioritise and multi-task efficiently.
