Job Title: Administrator Type: Temporary Contract – 9 months Location: Pontypool Hourly Rate: £13.55 - £15.50 Hours: Full time – 37.5 per week (Monday-Friday) This is a hybrid role split between the office 2-3 days per week and working from home 2-3 days per week. The office is based just outside of Pontypool (free parking is available). BRC are working with a housing association who are looking for an administrator to join them on a temporary contract basis. You will be working within the Property Services team to provide administrative support where needed. This is customer focused role therefore the ideal person for this role will be friendly, compassionate, and able to deal with situations in a timely manner. Responsibilities (not limited to): Electrical scheduling works (booking in jobs with tenants, raising follow on jobs, monitoring electricians’ diaries, raising purchase orders) Monitoring of sprinkler servicing (liaising with contractors ensuring they are completed before going out of time, raising follow on works) Monitoring tenant satisfaction surveys Ad-hoc admin for voids/buy backs (raising jobs, purchase orders) Monitoring home adapt email inbox and raising small adaptation referral jobs and adding to spreadsheet. The successful candidate will have experience in: Knowledge and experience of working in a customer focused environment. Knowledge and Experience with providing administrative services to a high standard. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with a wide range of internal and external customers. Ability to put the customers’ needs at the centre of service provision and a commitment to problem solving and customer care. Social housing experience is desirable but not essential.
