Context & Environment
TCS UK is a young company with 10 years history. Source London is a network of charge points, established by TfL to support the 2012 Olympics and promote London as a leader in green technologies deployment. However, in 2015, TfL sold the network to Bolloré which upgraded and developed the network to locations that were more appealing to users. New frameworks of operations were set with various boroughs whilst focusing on development and quality of service. At the end of 2020, TotalEnergies acquired Source London from Bolloré and gave the network a new direction and start, by leveraging the TotalEnergies EV expertise and experience.
TCS UK, the Total Energies vehicle charging entity in the UK was recently set up to demonstrate the company commitment to new energies and the desire from TotalEnergies to expand on what already exists in London. TCS UK expects a significant growth in a competitive UK market, where its ambitions are to remain a leading player in London with a relatively important market share in the UK.
