We are currently looking for SEN experienced Teaching Assistants to join a number of roles we have available in our SEN bases within our mainstream Primary Schools in Caerphilly.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and mentoring children who require special educational support. These children may struggle with Autism, ADD, Down Syndrome, among other conditions.
Experience and/or understanding of children with additional learning needs is important, either professionally or personally. This role requires a calm, friendly, and collected individual to work closely with these pupils.
Our schools are committed to providing support and guidance on assisting with children with ALN and are focused on keeping the working environment a happy and joyful place to be a part of.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Supporting children between the ages of 4-11 with additional learning needs such as Autism, ADHD, and both emotional and behavioral needs.
2. Offering literacy and numeracy support.
3. Providing support throughout the day both for their school work and emotionally.
4. Required to work on a 1-2-1 basis with children as well as on a class basis.

3. Have experience working with children with additional needs (professional or personal).
