A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Autism Cover Supervisor to join a well-established school in Weymouth, offering support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and Complex Needs. As part of a highly experienced and supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering quality education and ensuring each student has the tools and encouragement they need to thrive. This role will see you working with students across the age range of 4 to 19, providing individualised support to ensure that learners reach their full potential. You will help foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes both academic and personal growth, enabling students to overcome barriers to learning in a supportive, calm, and structured setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, including MLD, ASC, and Complex Needs
* Assist in the development and delivery of individualised learning plans
* Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured environment for students
* Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure the best outcomes for all learners
* Promote students’ personal, social, and academic development
* Support students in managing challenging behaviours and developing social skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
