Mildenhall College Academy is looking to appoint an organised and enthusiastic DT/Food Technician. The role will require you to provide technical support to meet the needs of the Design Technology and Home Economics Faculty.
About you:
We are looking for a positive and committed individual who has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, a pro-active approach, and the ability to work independently, as well as the ability to relate well to visitors, staff, and students. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly team.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and well organised and will undertake the following duties:
* Preparation of rooms, studios, or workshops.
* Maintenance and repairs to all equipment and facilities.
* Maintain stock levels of apparatus and materials and re-order as necessary through the established procedure, including keeping stock records and carrying out stock checks.
* Check deliveries and invoices and refer any queries to suppliers or administrative staff, as appropriate.
* Ensure that Health & Safety regulations and relevant legislation are observed.
