Role Overview:
Working in our Children’s Homes means being a part of a young person’s day to day life. This involves supporting them through their highest highs and lowest lows. Our night support workers play a crucial role in helping young people regain their childhood and create pathways to become well-rounded adults. While challenges may arise, there will also be moments that feel like huge small victories.
Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and our aim is to create the best possible outcomes for them. Night support workers are fulfilled by the idea of affecting even the smallest positive changes, so we celebrate the little things.
Responsibilities:
* Take care of the home and the young people throughout the night.
* Provide support to young people dealing with trauma, illness, or distress.
* Build rapport and trust with young people.
* Perform household tasks during quieter times, such as paperwork, cleaning, and laundry.

* Base Salary: £28,536 - £31,488

Candidate Requirements:
* A ‘can do’ attitude and teamwork skills.
* Honesty and empathy in caring for young people.
* Resilience to handle challenging situations.
* A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
* If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we will support your studies.
You’ll start as a Night Support Worker by joining our ‘Care Academy’ for 4 weeks of training with experienced professionals.
