Full Description About the role The primary role of Kitchen Assistant is to work along side our chefs and other staff to provide our residents with high quality safe meal preparation and ensure kitchen safety that complies with all CQC and Health & Safety standards. Consistently working the hours as set out in the rota. Providing high quality standard of work always and keeping accurate kitchen records as are legally required and to maintain food safety. Our kitchen team are required to ensure that all meal preparation activities; clearing and dish washing service; floors; surfaces; food storage; fridge’s; freezers and all kitchen activities are performed in a kitchen that is clean, hygienic and meets the standards required to maintain food safety and our five star award by Environmental Health. You will also need to help with food delivery and collection throughout the home as required. We would like staff who are positive, fun, outgoing, caring, person centred and passionate about their work, and can work well independently and in a team environment You will adhere to all relevant policies and procedures and be a part of the efficient running of the home, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere for our residents and your colleagues.
