A well-respected Church of England School in Hillingdon seeks a dedicated and thoughtful Religious Studies Teacher to join our Theology department. * About the Role:
o Deliver engaging and reflective Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering Christian doctrine, scripture, ethics, and world religions.
o Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, discussion, and personal reflection.
o Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and theological reflections, providing constructive feedback to support their spiritual and academic growth.
o Contribute to the spiritual life of the school through participation in acts of worship and other religious activities.
* Ideal Candidate:
o Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Studies or Theology.
o A strong understanding of Christian theology and the secondary RS curriculum.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students in meaningful discussions about faith and ethics.
o A commitment to the school's Christian ethos and values.
