We are seeking a consultant with enthusiasm, commitment, and drive to work closely with colleagues throughout the organisation and within the community to help lead the organisation.
We are looking to appoint a new Locum Consultant in ENT (Otology) that will enhance the service of our ENT department that covers a population of approximately 560,000 patients with on-call cover population of around 1 million (shared with West Herts NHS Trust). The Trust is the largest in Hertfordshire and in the Integrated care services network and will soon be a teaching hospital for the medical school based at the University of Hertfordshire.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide general ENT service with on-call cover for East and North Herts and West Herts (all of Hertfordshire).
2. To work alongside existing Consultant Otologist to provide otology cover for the trust and region including complex middle ear, balance, hearing implants, paediatric hearing loss and hearing MDT.
3. To participate in the department’s teaching, audit, research and educational activities.
