Do you currently have a strong level of understanding in processing payroll from end to end and are looking for a new opportunity? If so, we are looking for a Payroll Assistant and this position can consider both full time and part time hours.
Main Duties:
* Collect, compile, and enter payroll data using appropriate software.
* Calculate and post payroll deductions.
* Process payroll by established deadlines.
* Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors.
* Update payroll records by recording changes including auto enrolment pension, loan payments, salary increases.
* Process new employees, terminations, and transfers.
* Calculate holiday entitlement.
* Address employee’s pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information.
* Assistance with general office administration duties from time to time.
The successful candidate will need to be analytical, methodical and numerical with the ability to multi-task and be highly organised.
This role is ideally 36.25 hours / 5 days per week; however, part time hours / days can also be considered. There is also the option of flexible and hybrid or office working available.
