Junior Plant Engineer (NVQ Level 3)

£32,000 - £35,000 + Training + Support Towards Qualifications + Progression + Overtime + Health Benefits + Monday - Friday 8am to 4.30pm + Predominantly Site Based
Do you have any experience working with Plant Equipment, looking for a varied, versatile site-based role where you will have great work / life balance, as well as the opportunity to train and develop your skills on bespoke, specialist equipment, designed for the UK's most challenging Geotechnical projects?
Are you looking to join a dynamic, friendly and highly skilled team, where you will work on cutting edge hydraulic drilling equipment, in a predominantly site-based role, with occasional visits to clients, where no two days will be the same?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established, and rapidly growing consultancy, which works on a range of high value projects across the UK. You will be responsible for service, maintenance, repair and fault finding on a fleet of Plant and Drilling Equipment, specifically working with Hydraulics. You will also be involved in new product development, and the build of specialist prototypes.
The role:
* Complete Service, Maintenance and Repair on specialist plant equipment within the workshop (E.g. drilling rigs, excavators)
* Work on our bespoke drilling equipment as well as typical construction plant
* Assist with the new build of prototypes, including some fabrication
* Occasionally travel to client sites to complete further maintenance on plant equipment
The person:
* Any experience as a plant fitter, with a Level 3 in either Mechanical or Land Based Engineering
* Driving License
