Position: HR Consultant (Recruitment Specialist)
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum (OTE £39,000 - £48,000)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for recruitment and selection? We are looking for dedicated HR Consultants to join our Belfast-based team, specialising in providing comprehensive recruitment and selection services to clients across the public and private sectors. This role focuses on managing outsourced end-to-end recruitment projects, ensuring a high-quality service delivery that meets and exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
* Develop an in-depth understanding of our clients' businesses and recruitment needs.
* Build and maintain credible relationships with clients, ensuring trust and agile delivery of recruitment projects.
* Act as an ambassador for Staffline, promoting our resourcing solutions and service offerings.
* Identify and grow opportunities within existing and new accounts.
Resourcing:
* Agree on resourcing milestones and timelines with clients at the start of each recruitment project, integrating these into a project plan.
* Review and refine job descriptions and personnel specifications to ensure they align with client needs.
* Develop engaging advertising strategies, ensuring compliance with client brand guidelines and legal requirements.
* Monitor and adjust attraction strategies based on ad performance to maximise candidate pools.
* Ensure accurate job postings on our ATS, aligning application forms with essential and desirable criteria.
Screening:
* Design and utilise shortlisting matrices to identify qualified candidates.
* Present and agree shortlisting outcomes with clients, involving psychometric testing if necessary.
Selection:
* Design and deliver innovative selection strategies, including competency-based interviews and psychometric exercises.
* Serve as an assessor and, where appropriate, chairperson during interviews, ensuring an unbiased and compliant process.
Onboarding
* Manage the contractual onboarding process, including job offers, references, and necessary checks.
Communication:
* Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Other Responsibilities:
* Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and emerging technologies in recruitment.
* Generate comprehensive post-campaign reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment practices.
* Actively engage in social media to connect with top talent and promote the Staffline brand.
What We're Looking For:
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including design and delivery of competency-based assessments and chairing interview panels.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification and full membership.
* Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Desirable:
* Experience in public sector recruitment.
* Degree in HR or related discipline.
* Level A or B Registered Test User qualification.
