New Part II Architectural Assistant job available in Kensington, London! A leading multidisciplinary studio is looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant with ArchiCAD skills. The successful candidate will work on some of the most luxurious projects in the UK and internationally. Offering a salary of up to £35,000 + benefits!
The practice is a reputable interior design and architecture studio, with years of successfully delivering exquisite projects in the most affluent parts of London and worldwide. With an ever-growing pipeline of work, they are now looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant with strong ArchiCAD skills to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Assist in the development of concept designs by providing drawing support to the design team
2. Produce tender and construction drawing packages in collaboration with the Project Architect
3. Coordinate consultant information and support with obtaining statutory approvals such as planning permissions and licenses to alter
4. Contribute to contract administration tasks, including AIs, RFIs, and shop drawing reviews
5. Participate in project running, ensuring quality control throughout
6. Uphold the company's ambitions and values while proactively driving projects forward
Required Skills & Experience
1. University degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology, must be Part II qualified or equivalent
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in luxury architecture/interior design practices in the residential sector in the UK
3. Proven experience in bespoke joinery design is preferred
4. Excellent eye for design and a passion for luxury finishes
5. Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
6. ArchiCAD experience is essential for this role; applications without will not be considered
7. Experience working with BIM would be beneficial
8. Visualising software skills are useful but not essential
