Do you have a positive approach to work and enjoy the challenge of a busy role? We have an opportunity for you. The Brokerage Coordinator plays a key role in securing commissioned services for the people of Doncaster. The duties of the post are varied and will include direct contact with social workers, external providers, and other professionals; therefore, the role requires a person with good communication skills who is able to build and develop positive relationships.
Duties will include coordinating commissioned care with providers to ensure efficient deployment of a service. Support service delivery by inputting data into electronic information systems and spreadsheets, and ensuring records are maintained and up to date using established IT systems, some of which are bespoke to the team. A good attention to detail is required as you will support the compilation of various statistics and reports required by management, drawn from accurate record-keeping and inputting into the council's systems.
You will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a good telephone manner, and the ability to record data accurately.
These duties and responsibilities should be regarded as neither exclusive nor exhaustive, as the post holder may be required to undertake other reasonably determined duties and responsibilities within the directorate commensurate with the grading of the post, without changing the general character of the post.
