The role Manage monthly payroll for 190 staff including adjustments and pension administration. Complete payroll returns for HMRC, pension providers, and other organisations, ensuring accurate records. Analyse payroll costs, post journals, and reconcile control accounts monthly. Administer pensions, including enrolments, leavers, and annual returns. Support budget setting, financial processes, and month-end/year-end procedures. Liaise with payroll software providers and address payroll queries. The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: At least 5 GCSE passes at Grade C or above to include English and Maths. Relevant experience operating computerised payroll and liaising with HMRC. Experience operating a large payroll. Knowledge of statutory entitlements relating to payroll and pensions admin. Desirable: Experience administering aspects of employer pension schemes.
