Job Overview
We are seeking an Aircraft Fitter to join our team at one of the world's largest engineering product manufacturers in Oxfordshire. This is a permanent position, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to obtain certification and become licensed engineers.
The company offers a comprehensive training program, which includes:
* Funding for a proportion of the module, exams, and accommodation while on the course
* Starts after a successful 6-month probation period
* During the probation, you will be required to complete 3 modules, funded by yourself
* The remainder of the modules will be funded by the company
Main Responsibilities:
* Achieve Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors
* Working knowledge of UK CAA regulations (Part 145, Part M, and UK ANO requirements)
* Complete maintenance tasks, including product structure, power plant, mechanical, and electrical systems
* Supervise maintenance fitters and certify their work
* Assist in day-to-day running of the area, including product movement and general housekeeping responsibilities
About You:
* Candidates without a license but with extensive aircraft maintenance experience and studying for a license will also be considered
* 5 years' experience in a rotary environment; type training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Degree of DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC clearance; applicants must meet ITAR and Export Compliance Regulations
