An exciting opportunity has arisen for applicants who meet the core job specification and who would like to be part of our hardworking, dynamic team of radiographers working in the Diagnostic Imaging departments in our four hospitals (East Surrey, Crawley, Horsham and Caterham Dene) as an apprentice radiographer.
You may have recently finished your A levels or are considering a career change to become a radiographer without the worry of university fees.
At Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust, we believe in investing in our staff and understand that ensuring staff satisfaction is key to delivering a high-quality patient experience and outstanding quality care. We will encourage staff with career progression opportunities, such as attending external study days, in-house opportunities, and Red dot courses once qualified.
Applicants are expected to work flexibly across all 4 sites. There is an on-call commitment and expectation of shift work/7 day working once qualified and follow a student rota whilst training. Band 3 for first two years, Band 4 for third year of apprenticeship.
Main duties of the job
Applications are welcomed from highly motivated individuals who are keen to be part of a successful, continually developing organisation. The successful candidate will be fully supported through our induction process with a dedicated mentor to ensure your progress is on-track. The post-holder should meet either Exeter or Sheffield Hallam's diagnostic radiography apprenticeship entry requirements and be available to start the course in March 2025.
