A West Sussex Local Authority is looking for a Temporary Accommodation Team Leader to join their team for at least three months, with the initial contract period until the end of the financial year. In this role, you will lead a small, dedicated team of four Temporary Accommodation Officers. Your responsibilities will include duty cover 2-3 days per week, during which you'll mentor and support the homelessness team. You'll be required to work in the office for 2 days, with the option to work from home on the third duty day. You will need to have experience leading a team of officers within local authorities, with an emphasis on Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996. Experience with Home Connections is preferred but not essential. This role offers a competitive rate, dependent on experience. Interviews will be commencing at the beginning of January. Interested?
