The Opportunity:
Are you a reliability engineer looking to apply your expertise and gain new experiences? This is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and influence the reliability of complex and exciting products. The role involves ensuring that reliability assurance efforts are optimised, aiming for a lean yet effective reliability program.
As a reliability engineer, understanding the system and its operational context is vital for mitigating risks. The goal is to construct a reliable case while balancing time and cost constraints. This position requires a pragmatic approach, emphasising that reliability results from solid engineering, not just compliance with numerical targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction using various cost-effective methods.
Our engineering projects come with internally funded research, offering you the chance to showcase your expertise. Additionally, our graduate development programs provide an opportunity to shape the next generation of reliability engineers. With potential international opportunities, the possibilities for growth are vast.
What are we looking for?
* Good knowledge of complex electronic systems and associated reliability challenges (experience in other engineering fields will be considered if the candidate demonstrates the right strengths)
* Ability to deliver Reliability Case Reports and supporting data (e.g., FMECA, reliability predictions). Experience with recent prediction methods like FIDES is a plus
* Strong understanding that reliability is not just about numbers, and experience in planning, analysis, and testing during development
* Proven knowledge of the relationship between the reliability lifecycle and system engineering processes
* Effective team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to work within multi-disciplinary, multi-national teams
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ideally degree-qualified or equivalent
