Hays are working on behalf of a leading employer in Derry City to recruit Administration Assistants to join their team.
1 x full-time position – 37 hours a week1 x part-time position – hours a week (4 days)
Both positions are to cover maternity leave. They are office-based roles and working hours will be between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Your new role
As Administration Assistant, you will work within a busy team and be responsible for managing confidential information. This will involve processing customer details, updating systems accurately and efficiently, arranging meetings and booking appointments. Taking telephone calls from customers and dealing with enquiries. Producing reports as required for managers and general administration duties.
What you'll need to succeed
As Administration Assistant, essentially, you will 6 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including GCSE Maths and English or equivalent or higher educational standard
AND one year's experience providing administration support in an administrative/clerical roleORQCF (Previously NVQ)Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent or higher educational standard AND one year's experience providing administration support in an administrative/clerical roleORThree years experience providing administration support in an administrative/clerical role
You will have previous experience dealing with confidential information. Proven experience in the use of Microsoft suite. Excellent organisational skills and the ability tomunicate with internal and external customers via verbal and written forms.
